We are Seongwoon and Lucette, also known as Seong and Lu from SeongLu Kitchen, a YouTube channel where we share our love for food and cooking, with a main focus on Korean food.

Lucette began learning how to cook Korean dishes so her husband could enjoy a taste of home while being away. It started behind the scenes with seaweed soup, a common meal Korean families eat on birthdays, and grew into wanting to learn more dishes that Seongwoon would love to have at home.

Through our travels between South Korea and Australia, we bring what we have learnt to the table, and with Seongwoon’s chef background, we continue to learn new skills along the way. Being away from home is not always easy, and food can bring a sense of warmth, comfort and familiarity. 

We created this website as a place to share our recipes, in the hope that we can bring some of that warmth to you too.
